Begin the day with a drive through the heart of Western Jerusalem where you will see the Knesset (Israel’s parliament), the Supreme Court, the offices of the various government ministries, the Israel Museum with the Shrine of the Book and the Hebrew University at Givat Ram. Visit the world-famous Chagall Windows at the Hadassah Hospital synagogue in Ein Kerem. After that, take a walk on Mt. Herzl to see the tombs of Theodore Herzl, Yitzhak Rabin, Golda Meir and others. Drive past the Mahane Yehuda market to the Street of the Prophets. Walk along Ethiopia St. and see the house where Eliezer Ben Yehuda, the “father of modern Hebrew” lived and continue on to the old-world setting of Mea Shearim.

Start the tour with a visit to the charming village of Ein Kerem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. Visit the Church of St. John and the Virgin’s Well. Drive to the 11th century Georgian Monastery of the Cross in the Valley of the Cross just below the Knesset and the Israel Museum. Continue on to the Street of the Prophets where we will walk past the historic Tabor House and down Ethiopia Street to see the unusual Ethiopian Orthodox Church in the round. From there, we cross over to the Russian Compound with its famous pilgrim facilities and cathedral. End by driving past what is called “the most beautiful YMCA in the world”, just across from the famous King David Hotel.
Half-Day Jerusalem Old City – Catholic/Orthodox Emphasis
Begin by driving to the top of the Mount of Olives for a spectacular view of Jerusalem’s Old City and the Kidron Valley. From this vantage point, the Temple Mount with its golden Dome of the Rock dominates our view. It was on this spot that the Second Temple stood during the time of Jesus. Our next stop is the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations. We enter the Old City via St. Stephen’s Gate and come soon to the first of the Stations of the Cross on the Via Dolorosa. We trace the footsteps of Jesus all the way to the Holy Sepulcher Church, the spot on which Jesus was crucified, buried and rose from the dead. After our visit, we exit the Old City and return to our hotel.

Visit the city Beit Shean, where King Saul fought the Philistines, and where, a thousand years later, a modern city was built, so well preserved that you can walk along the Roman streets around the Sea of Galilee, to visit the ancient synagogue at Caepernaum.
Ending with a visit to Safed, the city of mysticism and Kabalah. Visit quaint art galleries and ancient synagogues.

Start the day visiting Nazareth, where Jesus spent his youth and then follow in his footsteps to the Sea of Galilee. Start our day at Massada, built by Herod, defended by the Jewish Zealots and captured by the Romans after a three year siege.
You cannot leave the Dead Sea without taking a memorable dip in its salty,

Finally you will stop at Qumran, the suggested home of the Essenes, and see where many of the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.

Early morning climb to Mt Nebo – traditional spot where Moses viewed the Promised Land. Ascend down the biblical route of the plain of Moab to cross into Israel (through King Hussein). Travel north to the Galilee via Jordan Valley with stops at Gilgal, ancient city Beit Shean then stop at a kibbutz just by the Sea of Galilee for Ein Gev Holiday Village – a kibbutz just by the Sea of Galilee.
(Wed) Day 3 (B L D)
Today we start the day visiting Bethsaida, home to the three disciples. Move along the Golan Heights and understand the importance of its strategic position. Caesarea Philippi, traditional site where Simon acknowledged Jesus is Christ. At Tel Dan, walk along River Jordan right up to the source of river
and end the day with a visit to the beautiful artist colony in Safed.
(Thu) Day 4 (B L D)
Early morning boat ride across the Sea of Galilee. Tiberias, Tabgha, Capernaum, Mt of Beatitudes and visit the Ancient Boat Museum. In the afternoon, we travel further west to Haifa, Mt. Carmel, Nazareth and Zippori. We will have a chance to look at the plain of Jezreel Valley.
(Fri) Day 5 (B L D)
We leave the Galilee this morning for Tel Meggido and coastal Caesarea – a magnificent harbour built by King Herod. Travel along Sharon Valley to Tel Aviv and the world’s oldest port, Jaffa. This afternoon we will visit Neot Kedumin – 623 acres of Biblical landscape. “Jerusalem,” God’s covenant city, will greet us in the evening. Proceed to Mt. of Olives visiting Paster Noster Church, Church of the Ascension and have a lighting ceremony of Shabbat Candles at sunset and pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Transfer to hotel.
(Sat) Day 6 (B L D)
Leave early in the morning for Bethlehem and visit Church of Nativity. Return to Jerusalem for Giloh, Field of Ruth and Boaz, City of David (Area G, Gihon Spring, Pool of Siloam), Garden of Gethsemane (Church of All Nations, Mary’s Tomb). Return to hotel in the evening.
(Sun) Day 7 (B D) lunch on your own
We will spend the whole day in the Old City starting the tour at Western Wall Tunnel, St Anne’s Church for Pool of Bethesda, Lithostros, Ecco Homo of Via Dolorosa to Holy Sepulcher Church. Visit David’s Tower by Jaffa Gate and winding through the Armenian Quarter we come to the Cardo, the Kotel – the Western Wall. Visit the Southern Wall excavation with Davidson Center. If time and weather permit, we will sit on the ancient steps (steps of the 2nd temple period) at the Ophel looking at the City of David and remember past events of the Temple of God. ** today we will have a chance to shop in the Old City. Today we are going to walk a lot – wear a very good and comfortable pair of walking shoes.
(Mon) Day 8 (B L D)
West Jerusalem is where we visit Yad Vashem and Israel Museum – Shrine of the Book. Proceed to Ein Karem and visit Tantur Biblical Institute for a “Last Supper” meal. Shalom Jerusalem – enroute to Dead Sea area we stop at Wadi Kelt. Passing Qumran caves we will come to Ein Gedi – the largest oasis along the shore of the Dead Sea and desert. Evening visit to Masada for a magnificient view of the sea and the desert. Masada is “fortress” in Hebrew. The dramatic and heroic story together with its huge architecture attract thousands of visitors yearly. Transfer to hotel. Its private beach to the Dead Sea allows us the convenience of a dip into the sea at our own leisurely time.

By the Sodom Caves, let’s learn again the reason for the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. Proceed to Mamshit, once a fortified city of the Nabateans and the main spice route from Judea to Petra. Experience Bedouin Hospitality and a camel ride into the desert. Travelling south to Mitzpe Ramon passing Sde Boker and Ovdat. Be prepared to have a late night as we gaze into the galaxy for stars at the biggest observatory in the Middle East. (sorry no supper lah!)
(Thu) Day 11 (B L D)
Rivers in the Desert Experience at Mt Karkom or Timna Valley. If at Timna, we will visit the replica of the Tabernacle in the Wilderness. We proceed to Eilat for lunch and a chance to walk around the vibrant city in the afternoon breeze. Let’s come to the Red Sea or Gulf of Eilat or Gulf of Aqaba – this is the place where 2 continents and 4 countries meet. We cross Arava Border into Jordan for our next destination – Petra.
(Fri) Day 12 (B L D)
Rise and shine this morning for an exciting day ahead of us. Petra – the “Red Rose City”. Once was the capital of emerging Nabatean kingdom – the center of a vast trade network, its magnificiently spectacular buildings and tombs carved out of red cliffs displayed the wealth of the Nabatean kingdom. Twist of fate or wrath of God – this city was abandoned after a devastating earthquake on July 9, 551 CE, but its natural splendor was well preserved until this day. Today Petra is the main tourism income of the Hashemite Kingdom. A full day in Petra bring us through the pages of the Bible – Moses, Aaron, Edomites, 2 Samuel, Judges, Kings, Obadiah and Revelation. A memorable end to our spiritual journey leaving with the legacy of our praise and worship echoing throughout the city from the amphitheatre. TO GOD BE THE GLORY !!!
